Translink oil seals are critical components designed to protect bearings from contaminants, retain lubricants, and ensure smooth operation in rotating machinery. Also known as shaft seals or grease seals, they play a vital role in enhancing bearing life, preventing premature failure, and reducing maintenance costs.

The main functions of oil seals are Lubricant Retention – Keeps oil or grease inside the bearing housing to ensure proper lubrication and reduce friction, contaminant exclusion – blocks entry of dirt, dust, water, and other particles that could damage the bearing, friction reduction – minimizes contact wear between moving parts, ensuring efficient rotation, and Pressure regulation– Helps balance pressure inside the bearing housing, preventing leakage or overheating.
