The San Juan de Dios Hospital belongs to the Hospitaller Order of San Juan de Dios of Spain. This is a private, non-profit institution with a vocation for public service since its creation in 1867. Its objective has always been to care for people in the most vulnerable situations.
With more than 150 years, the center has a high specialization in the treatment of children and pregnant women and has one of the most important terminal disease childcare units in Europe.

Many of today’s rare diseases do not have the necessary help to be treated. Ménière’s Syndrome is a chronic disease, with a cause that is not yet well known and manifests itself with large repetitive rotational vertigo, hearing loss and tinnitus. It is a very complex disease and is reflected in many areas of the patient’s daily life, leading to an accumulation of doubts and fears that in many cases lead to the patient’s despair and with serious repercussions on their family, social and work life.
ASMES (Association of Ménière Syndrome Spain), is a national non-profit association registered with the Ministry of the Interior in the National Registry of Associations, Section 1, national number 611720.
This association is made up of patients affected by Ménière’s Syndrome from all over Spain, their families, and specialized professionals. Its function, objective, and reason for being is to assist, in a broad sense, all people affected by this disease.

The Àuria School was founded in 1967 and its objective is to fulfill the right of all children and adolescents affected by intellectual disabilities to receive an education adapted to their needs.
The Àuria school goal is to ensure that, children and adolescents in the l’Anoia region affected by any intellectual disabilities and its associated disorders (sensory, motor and personality), can develop their own abilities.
The APINAS foundation serves more than 1,500 people from the region each year and has obtained recognition from both, city and regional government, for its contribution to society.
